Mr. Stavros Charalambous holds two Masters degrees in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA and an MBA degree with a concentration in MIS, from the University of New Orleans, USA. He began his studies at the University of New Orleans, USA, and earned a Bachelor in Business Administration. Upon his return to Cyprus in 2001, he was appointed as a Lecturer at Cyprus College in the Department of Computer Science teaching computer programming courses. In 2007 he was appointed as Special Teaching Personnel at the School of Sciences, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, European University Cyprus. His research interests include Web Programming and E-commerce.

Mr Leonidas Koufopavlou holds a masters degree in Computer Science and a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked as an assistant Electrical Engineer for the City of New York, as a project manager and coordinator for several contractual services. After the completion of his masters degree, he worked as a computer Analyst for Dov. Yaron Associates INC in New York. Upon his return to Cyprus in 1993 he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering , Cyprus College and then European University Cyprus. Beyond the teaching at EUC, he has undertaken several final senior projects on software development. He published an “A Expert system for Compute Aided Pharmaceutical Applications” in the Journal of Business and Society.

Mr. Cheng is an instructor in the position of Special Teaching Personnel. His primary teaching areas include Database Management Systems, Operating Systems and Networks. Mr. Cheng joined the European University Cyprus since its establishment in 2007 and before that he was employed by Cyprus College since 2003. Mr. Cheng received his Master of Science in Computer Science in 2003 from the University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with highest honors from the same University. Mr. Cheng has interned at Microsoft as a Software Test Engineer in 2001, and at LogosNet as a web developer in 2000. He was previously employed by Cyprus College as a Lab supervisor and web developer from 1994 – 1998 when he received a Fulbright CASP scholarship to study in the United States. In addition to his previous education Mr. Cheng is a certified CCAI (CISCO Certified Academy Instructor) for CCNA Exploration and also has certifications for IT Essentials, CCNA Discovery and CCNA Security. Mr. Cheng is a member of the Cyprus Computer Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Areas of interest include: database management systems, operating systems development, programming, networks, security, embedded systems and robot programming.
